I 'm looking forward to it already but we might end up with something like a Evermore remake first.

When you say Secret of Mana 2, are you referring to the third one in Japan? This is a remake of the second one from the trilogy. I always thought it was wonky that they decided to localize the series half way through rather than starting at the beginning.

He means Seiken Densetsu 3, surely. Not even sure we'll ever get an official english version.

Fyi, they did start at the beginning. It was called "Final Fantasy Adventure" in the US, for the Gameboy.

If we go literal, SD2 would be this game. SD3, the next. and SD would be FFA/SoM/AoM.

ive been vigorously scouring steam and peopels profiles like stryker and kongzoola (using http://www.lorenzostanco.com/lab/steam/) with 10s of thousands of games and google etc. there isn't alot of games like SoM and none of them have map editors or really good post game content.

IIRC SD3 had some quasi post game content and some really hard to get grind friendly RNG gear you could make with the seeds.

I never played SD2 (SoM) more than once back ink the day when i was a teenager and we only rented it for two days so my memory is shaky. is there a good post game? I still will play TF out of it of course.

Wanderust Adventures only has "15 dungeons" and level 25 cap and devs said they are done with project.

Secrets of Grindea (closest game to SoM imho) is 70% done and has taken many years to get to this point.

Thanks! Never owned a gameboy back in the ninties, just a SNES and Genesis.

it was called that but its SoM 1. this game is Seiken Densetsu 2.
In fact FFA was remade as Sword of Mana for Gameboyadvance.
though they probably didn't do a remake of that cause it's owned by nintendo still ? or something with nintendo probably preventing them from doing it

the seiken saga is not a trilogy, there are a lot of games
final fantasy gaiden (seiken densetsu)
secret of mana (seiken densetsu 2)
secret of mana 2 (seiken densetsu 3)
legend of mana
sword of mana
children of mana
dawn of mana
heroes of mana

I don't like what I've been reading about the SoM port released on Steam.
Maybe I shouldn't ask for more after all.
Gosh dammit all.
