The crashes are frustrating the hell out of me

I got this game a while back when it first came, but my old PC couldn't handle the graphic-intensive nature of the game. Now I finally got a new PC with a rtx2070 and I thought I would be able to enjoy the game, but the bloody game crashes on me every half an hour. I searched the forums to find a fix for the gray screen issue (which got fixed), but now i get random crashes and also some weird glitches where there's white boxes on my screen and it crashes my computer. Just a rant and hopefully the developers can fix this game soon because I was really looking forward to it when it came out on the PC. But damn it's making me really regret not getting a PS4 instead.

im 123hrs in and got my first crash loop. lost a good 45 minutes of the first post-game secret dungeon "A Menace Sleeps in Keycatrich". both the autosave and game save keeps crashing about 20 seconds into the game loading. had to revert to a prior save and run the game on low. really pissed off that the game looks awful now and tomorrow I'll start testing the settings one by one to see how good I can make it look before it will lock up again. I recommend doing so. keep in mind that you'll be in for a good hour of crashing and waiting for the unskippable loading credits before the main menu. seriously thinking of killing myself since this is happening and season two just got canceled yesterday. thanks for ripping me off of $50 for a garbage port Square. get it together.
btw if you're under two hours look into getting a refund and buy the console versions used for a bargain.

I had this problem too but it's gone now. Try this:

1. Lower the TRAM
2. Turn off Nvidia Turf effect

I also got a 2070 but i think that the game is just not optimized. I get ramdom freezes here and there not a lot. I also got a freeze once that crashed to desktop. I went and lowered the resolution to 1080p and now its better.

i7-6700k rtx2070 32gb ram wqhd here, everything on max except hairworks. Got a plenty of crashes every hour but after i changed virtual memory to 8gb fixed size, no more crashes.
Played 2-3 hours in a row and still stable, sometimes just microfreeze like everyone other but now enjoying this game-

I can't play the game AT ALL. I bought it on Tuesday and have not been able to even get to load screen. I dropped from 4k to 1080p and still no dice. It just gives me the Runtime error P6025 pure virtual function call. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times already now. I'm just about ready to give up on the game. I haven't even gotten to a load screen!!!

I stayed away from the game ever since I created the post in the hope of some new patches... going to try playing the game for the next few days. Hopefully things will get better....
