Interiors are too dark.

both when looking from the outside and in some cases on the inside as well, places like galdin key are way too dark. i understand there's an effect to simulate eyes adjusting to light but how dark it gets is way too much.

I understand what you are trying to say, but...
Did you read at all what i said in my comment? nowhere do they list HDR as necessary, nor was the game designed with HDR in mind as an important part of it, but as something that makes the game better.

HDR is disabled by default... and it wouldnt make everything dark, it would ♥♥♥♥ up your contrast.

Yeah,we're just going off of his assumption that HDR would solve the problem. dude was being pretty rude about it too thinking everyone should have HDR. but maybe you're right, i can't see it just being HDR.

you handled the situation well - look dude i did a DDU (completely removed all drivers to reinstall it) and it looks like it's quite better, but i can't speak for it right now

Not sure if this will help anyone else but I turned off gamma correction in my Nvidia graphics settings and this fixed the lighting in many dark scenes and areas
