Crashing on startup

For me the game crashes after loading, I cannot even get into the main menu.
I've been waiting weeks and was soo excited I could finally play it and then this happens.

If anybody can help please do.

Same over here. I was really hyped and I checked the recommendations the PC should have for the game over and over again, but it still won't work. Wth?

Same also. My Specs are well above Recomended, Games Black screens on launch and displays a standard Application crash notice after Ctrl+alt+Del, No informal error no configuration tools nothing. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rediculous carry on.

If you guys dig into your Event Viewer you'll probably see the same crash data I have:

That has nothing to do with a crash on launch. That could explain a crash after a period of playtime only.

For me it randomly stated working, I dont know why but I am having a blast playing the game.

I don't "crash" but I just have a gray screen and the application is taking 50% of my CPU, but the ram usage is at like only 150 MB and not increasing. This is from just opening the game.

Okay, this is how I fixed the issue:

Create a folder here:
C:\Users\Beelzebub\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XV\Steam\[YOURSTEAMID6HERE]\savestorage

where you replace the [] with your steamID (https://steamidfinder.com and copy url of your profile there)

then in the folder "savestorage" your create a file called "GraphicsConfig.ini" and add the following text:

[DisplaySettings]
FullScreenModeOnStartup=1

Just to e sure I added "-windowed" to game launch options. Now you can hopefully run the game in windowed mode until they fix the full screen issue.
