FF15 - STEAM DECK LAYOUT

there are no current custom layout for the steam deck made so far and the official layout has not been done properly.

you can find a dev layout but this one does not even contain the MENU button !!! i struggled a bit to understand that you need to add a submenu on the setting button and choose the "CONTROLLER SELECT" button to finally access it.


knowing that it is required in the phase 3 of the GAME TUTORIAL, i believe it is very urgent that layouts get to be reviewed by devs or players otherwise you cannot even play the game!

so please, post here your layouts. shoot your ideas of the best configs you think would be for ff15

hi im not sure what i did but i messed around with the controls in game, i think when i change the controls to type b the inventory worked fine when i click the select button (idk the upper left of the deck next to arrow keys), clicking on the key bindings may have done it too, but when i changed controls back to type a inventory still work. i hope this will be of help

yeah the layout system is great but not at all intuitive.. as a matter of fact, I have found a "controller layout" from community that suits me pretty well.. However, it was by going through the deck's settings in "layouts - community layout" that several different types were offer to download. Their names however is really not super clear and you will need to get inside the layout presentation to see how they arranged the menu. I am still testing at this stage, it is a learning curve I suppose...
