Struggling with Armiger Unleashed combo enders

I know about the different combos you can do when Noctis flashes white but it is really inconsistent for me.

Is the timing really that strict or is there a trick to make it easier? Tapping the attack button seem to work a bit better but I am not sure and I'm also so used to holding it down because that's just how FFXV combat works.

Flashing and actual input window arent perfectly alligned. You have to press a bit after Noctis starts flashing (but before he stops). Tapping may work better for 2 attacks finisher, but after that it loses rhythm so for 3 and 4 holding and waiting on flashing always worked better for me. Practice it in tutorial room for a few minutes to memorize how entire combo looks, both 3 and 4 have easily distinguishable attacks before flashes.

It's definitely tricky. I might just suck though so there's that. I'll keep your advice in mind.

This mess was so frustrating even after watching multiple Youtube videos. With some practice, I've concluded that you have to time your Δ/Y to coincide with the END of Noctis' final arm movement from the circle/B sequence. The flashing didn't help me with jack squat.
