Regalia auto drive issues

For some reason I cannot get the Regalia to move when using auto drive, for anything. When a destination is set, all party members hop in the car and then Ingis just.. doesn't go anywhere.

Currently I'm in Chapter 2 and don't have the option to drive manually yet but I'm afraid to progress further if there isn't a way to resolve this issue. I've tried google searches left and right but the only results I can seem to find are about people not being able to manually drive the car, but I can't get it to go any place at all.

Anyone have suggestions? I've tried all options like towing to Hammerhead, towing it to where I'm at, anything. But whenever I try to go anywhere the car won't budge. I can still fast travel, but that doesn't help for quest locations further away from parking spots.

Did you check how much fuel you have? I don't know if you can enter the Regalia if you don't have enough fuel since I never run out. Still, that might be your problem, though I don't know how that might mess with towing.

Yeah, I'm at full for fuel. As an update, I just got to Chapter 3 and unlocked the ability to manually drive. Same issue now, I'm just stuck. I can't accelerate at all, I'm just stuck where I'm at.

Figured it out; bluetooth controller was connected somewhere and was preventing the car from moving(for whatever reason).

If you hit rt and lt alternatly after several times of reversing and braking, it will fix the problem and your car should accelerate. the amount of times you need to hit the buttons is not exact, but eventually it always works.
