thanks bro I see here it says for episode ardyn
Could be played alongside A King’s Tale, but it makes more sense after playing through the base game. So is the whole dlc before the game ? I havent played it and Im going for a true chronological run.
This is the oficial story line presented by Square ENIX.

Episode Ardyn takes place before the main game yes but their is also some end/post game spoilers in it as well, so that's up to you
yea episode ardyn gives you some context and backstory to ardyn so you understand him better but it also does show some cutscene you will also see at end game, so it's kind of spoilery but not really
Ffs squenix. why does every FF plot now have to be grandoise? Ever since ff13, the whole plot needs to be explained in multiple games/dlc
Episode Prompto: Chapter 11.
Episode Ignis: after clearing the game as it spoils the ending.
Comrades: After Chapter 13, but if you do it prior to Chapter 14 your avatar can be encountered during Chapter 14.
Episode Ardyn: after clearing the game as it also spoils the ending.
"let's just forget about Noctis's sacrifice and brotherhood (the whole point of the game), turn Ardyn into a hero, bring Luna back from the dead, and turn it into a BATTLE OF THE GODS!"
