- I've verified file integrity
- internet connection available
- I turned off firewalls

But the game has not been turned on. I want to play this game. Please help me.

That's Denuvo issue.
are you by any chance running the latest version of windows 10?

If you are connected with an ethernet cable check its integrity, it happened to me years ago that I could not reach ONLY few servers because of a faulty cable, it'd take endless time to load forums or could not play some games, I do suggest this as last resort but if you can't seem to find a fix and supposedly you're using an ethernet cable the best bet is either buying a power line or contact devs.

FYI, I did the following and it fixed it for me. (I had this issue on both FFXII and FFXV). I did not even have a "retry" or "next" button as others have stated they had.

I got it resolved by following the steps mentioned below:

1. Navigate to your actual launching .exe file inside of windows
(For me it was D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE\x64)

2. Right click and Chang Properties - run in compatibility mode for windows 8

3. Try launching the game at this point. I still got the message, but I had the option to press "retry" and "next". I spam clicked "retry" and it would keep popping up a dozen or so times, until eventually the game launched.

4. Once it launched once, it was fine. I was even able to turn off compatibility mode and it still launches perfectly fine.
