Finally defeated Omega
Well, I was severely overwhelmed during the battle. I had potions and it was taking an incredible amount of time to defeat omega. Then the incredible happened. Omega decided to teleport into a certain spot and infinitely ran in place, not attacking :bienfusmiling: . I wailed on Omega for a while with 3 of their legs missing and vortex daggers and every time I got arminger I used it.

Damn this battle takes a long time. I told myself I was going to see some build after I defeated that boss. However I think I'm going to take a break from FFXV after this fight. Took way to long to defeat this guy even when they were bugged into a wall.

I mean, the game lacks a challenge once you reach a certain point. You can easily become over leveled. To counter this, I guess the devs threw in a few bosses with insane health pools and resistances to basically everything so that those who grind will still have something to fight.

That said, with the right equipment/ items/ boosts you can kill even Adamantoise/ Omega in a few minutes.

Edit: I still remember years ago when Adamantoise was said it could take 72 hours to defeat. What a shame it really isn't that hard, aside from the camera trolling you. Some sort of scaling would have helped keep a good difficulty pace throughout so even those at level 120 still have to stay stocked up on supplies.

Most FF games had after-game super bosses to fight so it's somewhat expected.

Good job finishing off Omega, I never bothered after the first time I fought him and got destroyed by him. :steamhappy:

Omega would have been twice as easy if the damn camera would cooperate. I don't use the effects potions so I built up Armiger with strikes. And damn if 30% of the strikes weren't just hitting open air...

His random noob tube instant-death was super lame as well.

I killed Adamantoise today. It took a while to do (I was level 75) and I hadn't minmaxed. The camera was such a pain though.

Old post but agreed 100%. Same with Omega. My main gripe with FFXV is by far the terrible camera. It's the sole reason I lose fights. Well, when I first played the game maybe a few deaths while figuring out things.

Not counting the broken Ring of Lucii, I'm pretty sure the speed kill record for Adamantoise is under 10 minutes. Mostly spells. Omega is prolly under 5 minutes using the same method tbh. That ring is stupid broken. You can kill both in a single attack (might take a minute to set up properly). Unless it was nerf'd so that it doesn't reduce boss fights to one attack... I don't use it, no idea.
