What about Kefka? He's just a meme machine, that's all.
Sure, he did a lot... But Emperor did more.

Kefka "destroyed" the world... More like, damaged.
While Emperor Mateus destroyed 70% of all cities iat the end of his game, and even after first quarter of the game, all of the peaceful cities get bombed and lose most of their population. Cid's tavern was full of pilots, but afer bombing all of them died except CId and his henchman. Paloom had a cute girl who was happy, but after bombing, she died. Even small town of Gatrea had some people, but after bombing, only one old man survived, everyone else, including kids, died.

I'm just salty about Final Fantasy VI fans praising their game for stuff, that was done better in previous games. I'm just tired of people praising FFVI for having the world being destroyed mid game as something that was never done before, when FFII did that twice in it's story. And two years prior FFVI, Shin Megami Tensei 1 started having a nice tokyo city, but after first third of the game, it gets bombed and infested with demons.


...I got carried away.
Garland is the best villain, because he won, and Warriors of Light lost... Beause time loop was never broken.
