Is using Ragnarok in the early game kinda like cheating?

So you say that he should not play the game as it is ment to play in the original (vanilla) setting? Great advise buddy... Guess you also use cheats in other games because they are too hard for you, and advise others to do that too (and then complain the game is "too easy")..

I don't believe these weapons are as powerful as the claims people are making. Vanilla, Chocolate, I don't give a s***, they gave to him, he should make the choice not us.

He can use whatever the f*** they gave him, it's not cheating. Telling someone to play the correct, is incorrect, because it's your way, not his/hers whomevers way.

Very early in the game they are. Yes - Later in the game you get better weapons, but why should you spoil the early start of the game?

These weapons are NOT OP. They will not be useful at all once you hit about chapter 3. Use them at the start because only you won't use them ever again. Ragnarok is the only one that can be viable used at the end game.

This is also true, but you have to pay for royal weapons with health. Honestly, the others are not op. They're on level with weapons you find early in the game. I got better weapons fairly soon except for mage Mashers, but that was only because I had decided not to buy weapons and only get them from Quests, etc. I could've bought more powerful weapons early enough.

But if u using Royal Arms for primary weapon , you'll dead fast enough because of the self damage
First time I had it (like first 3 chapter) I thought that Royal Arms is very good , but I notice I lose a bit of my HP every enemy hit by it , and I google it and realize that you need to use royal arm wisely , not for primary weapon

AsFx, didn't that dude that brought you to the sword tell you that? the sword is even called the sword of the wise, and the item desciption says you will lose HP if you use it, and the dude says if you use it make sure you have potions and stuff to use.

No, and Ragnarok is an end-game weapon. It's stronger than Ultima Weapon when using warp-strikes.

Ragnarok is absurdly strong. The only time it's kind of weak is when you're fighting somewhere with no warp points to refill your MP. If there's any warp points around it is overpowered.

If you don't want to dumb down the combat, just use it when you're farming AP and never when fighting bosses or clearing dungeons. The 8x warpstrike multiplier makes getting killing blows much easier.

Royal Arms + a lot of health regen can be very effective (food buff, Megaphone, clothing, whatever). Still have to keep an eye during longer battles but for general mobs if you build it right you can use a RA most of the time, if you wish.

Most of them aren't really worth using as a primary, tho, imo...at least not over other weapons you can get later.
