You're gonna need a 1080 or a Titan to even run at the resolution and level.
Not to mention it has increase graphical detail.
Then there is 55gb of the pre-rendered cutscenes for the game in 2160p/4k. The default cutscenes are just FHD ,so the high Res ones do look nicer on 4k screens.
Downloading the pack lets you turn Assets to ON in-game. Apart from making it use the new HQ textures and movies,it also increases foliage density and LOD and draw distances on small clutter. Decrease in performance by roughly 5-10fps.
You can also force this increased density by the config into to get the better density without downloading the pack. Without it,land is just barren and barely has any grass.
