op weapons when starting the game?
hey guys,
i just bought the game and when you look in the inv after the prolog then you got maybe 3 swords already in there. and the dmg of them varies alot. the sword which is equipped has maybe 30. and the other two 60 and 120 or something. are these op weapons? bc i want to play the game without this stuff. if so, can i delete them somehow? thanks.

Not without a mod, no.

Most were originally tiny DLC or season-pass/holidy bonuses on console, that were then included with (all) Royal/Windows Edition as part of the marketing of being a "complete package for your money" or whatever.

The only one you can not avoid using by simply not using, is the one that reduces hotel/gas prices. The Store pages lists most of them (Ragnarok was part of the Booster or Holiday pack, and is the most OP'd weapon because it scales with leveling - the others are starter bonus weapons that you will ougrow fast enough).

FFXV Booster Pack+
FFXV Holiday Pack+

Bonus Items:

[Weapon] Masamune (FFXV Original Model)
[Weapon] Mage Mashers (FFIX Model)
[Weapon] Blazefire Saber XV (FFXV Original Color)
[Weapon] Gae Bolg (FFXIV Model)
[Regalia Decal] Platinum Leviathan
[Regalia Decal] 16-Bit Buddies
[Regalia Decal] Cindymobile
[Regalia Decal] Gold Chocobo
[Outfit] Royal Raiment
[Item] Travel Pack
[Item] Camera Kit
[Item] Angler Set
[Item] Gourmand Set

(The invincible armor suits are not DLC, they were a free inclusion from the getgo but originally delayed for a while, then patched in later - the dev's never intended for this game to be "difficult", really).

There was a mod on Nexus that supposedly temp-disabled some of them but I do not know if it still works.
