So, with lasagna al forno (+100%), someone wearing 2 moogle charms (20% each) would get +140% xp but if another character had 3 moogle charms on they'd get +160%.
They also affect the XP you actually gain so won't affect or be affected by specific camp / hotel multipliers. what I mean by that is that when you sleep, it doesn't care that you got some of your XP from wearing a moogle charm or having a food buff, it multiplies the total XP you gained since the last time you slept.
As far as I know, you can get a maximum of 7.8x XP between the +160% from lasagna and 3 moogle charms while earning and the 3x modifier at the levillle when you sleep.
It's not that hard to get moogle charms once you get to altissa and can play the 10k gil justice monsters game.
now looking for farming AP point
Using the full +160% XP and 3x sleep multiplier with the magitek armor for 30 minutes of immunity I was usually able to burn through enough runs of the timed quest to get an end result of 4.5 to 5 million XP.
In chapter 15 I was even able to start using warp strikes with zwill crossblades to kill the cactuars in 1 warp strike most times so it also became a good AP farm.
Other timed quests can also good for AP farming. The best I found was the sabertusk flexitusk one because warp strike should easily 1 hit them with ragnarok equipped. The scorpions one and garula one can also be good but they both have some "big" enemies in them that don't die in a single warp strike and can slow you down.
The reason I found timed quests like the above to be the best AP farm is that I could never get the beast whistle to work like it's shown in several videos.
In the AP farm videos I've seen, they use the whistle and <1 sec later a group of enemies spawns bunched together for an easy shield warp strike kill.
For me, I use the whistle and even in the exact locations from the videos, 1/2 the time nothing spawns at all and the other 1/2 they spawn somewhere between 10 to 30 seconds after using the whistle and they're all spread out.
Timed quests work much better because you can run them back to back and kill the enemies as fast as you can with very little "wasted" time running between enemies.
Having 50 saber/flexitusk enemies coming to you and all falling to 1 warp strike each and able to be respawned a few seconds after you finish killing them all is quite nice for AP. You do have to wait till it's the daily timed quest though and it can get incredibly repetitive.
