Phase 1 is somewhat fair to solo players. You will have to repeat a few missions here and there to get more power but overall its managable.
Phase 2 and especially its side/bonus content was tuned for a group of 4 who have nothing else to do but farm this game 24/7. And farming endgame crafting components is very tedious, often an item is dropped by a single enemy present in a single mission and not even with 100% chance, and you need like 200 of those. And repeating each mission once is 4 loading screens that take time even with SSD,
My personal answer was: Cheat Engine. There is no anti cheat and no PvP so no one cares. I kept is semi-legit by only increasing the ammount of crafting items I already have.
2. IMO combat is better in Comrades than in main game. I wish they backported some things to SP when they still supported this game. I especially miss significantly improved daggers moveset and ability to airstep with all weapon types.
3. No, you need to connect to servers. Even tho everything is in fact saved locally and server is only used to matchmaking (this is peer-to-peer game). It should be possible to create offline patch for Comrades and maybe someone already done that.
