"Close encounters of the Terra kind" quest doesn't disappear

Soo... I just played through the "Close encounters of the Terra Kind" quest, killed the boss and got Sarah's Shortsword, but the quest is still in my questlog... why doesn't it disappear?

I know it's a minor thing to be annoyed by, but I really like completing quests and then having them disappear from the 'active quests' log. Any particular reason this one stays in there?

I was thinking the same thing also considering I did get some items for completing it.
Was a bit confused when it was still there reloading the game.
