How do you beat marlboro

I get him down to 1 pixel and then he just won't die and heals himself every time

[If Ignis already did his thing and you're STILL not able to kill him, then it's probably glitched. In that case, I usually suggest lowering the graphics setting in Game Options because I encountered this type of glitch often at higher resolutions.]

You have to follow the red arrows to the back corner when it tells you to regroup. I was getting mad too, because I would head a different way and nothing would happen.
