Is it worth to disable something except maybe hairworks and turf because it looks amazing lol

vxaoo imo

all the others don't make no difference performance wise but visually are more impressive than vxaoo

Hairworks and Turfworks are the most demanding of the NVIDIA Gameworks, imo. VXAO and Shadowlibs are fairly soft compared to those two, but in places like Lestallum or Altissia where there's a bunch of NPCs and objects around, VXAO (and Shadowlibs?) will definitely take a hit in performance.

Most demanding setting in-game is the internal scaling going over 100% (assuming you are at 4k resolution or higher). Everything else is negligible.

I have a GTX 1080ti and it can handle everything as far as I can tell, although VRAM can creep up to the 10gb range which is rather high, and given the game has a serious RAM leakage bug, probably not worth pushing as hard as possible until they release some fixes.

Definitely need a modern TOTL cpu to keep a constant high FPS with a good card @4k or better.

Not really, my 1080tis are hooked to a 8700k, wouldnt call this TOTL cpu, and its barely taking up 40-50% load on 4k, on 1080p its only about 20-30%. Its really sad that i cant utilize my SLI, lots of issues with forced SLI.

speaking of which, Just downloaded new drivers release few minutes back. No mention of FFXV =(

They all are demanding, however to what extent depends on the scene. In some scenes, some of the Nvidia settings have little to no impact, as they are not being implemented at that very moment.

This is why so many people have different opinions on this subject, which shouldn't even be subjective, but rather objective.

Yeah I noticed that as well with my VRAM. I average between 45-50fps at 4k. Will go down into the high 30s during combat

LOD gives a lot FPS uncapped. 8-10 FPS jumps from high to average. this is a lot.

I just figured out its VXAO which takes 5-15 fps.

So when i play 1080p with everything on max except TRAM which is on high and every nvidia setting activated except VXAO i never dip below 45 fps and have 60 average, nice.

why would u go TRAM not on MAX? It takes only 3 FPS for me and the MAX settings is way more detailed. 1070 here.

i testes it for with uncapped FPS. i got like 105 on MAX and like 102-100 FPS on HIGH. (i could see the difference easily) with 4K textures. uses 3.5 GB RAM on high and 7.1 GB on MAX here. got 8GB on my 1070. i think u want definitely a SSD when loading so much. i saw "stutters" while using a normal HDD.

I also got a GTX1070 but it still uses around 95% of the card, which averages around 7,5-7,8gb VRAM. You think if I change the setting to Highest it won't go up no further? Also, I'm using an i7-7700 with 16gb DDR4-2400 RAM. I'm also using ReShade so it looks good even with TRAM on High only.

VXAO without a doubt. Then hairworks and turfworks maybe, but no so much. Shadows only take 2-3fps.
