23 hours and finished the game

really dissapointed....
this is not a final fantasy sry and i wish i didnt buy

I've got 28 hours and I'm at the start of chapter 6

I'm not even doing the majority of the side quests, just the hunts.

Similar to other open world RPG games yes. Similar to other Final Fantasy games, no.

Other guy said you can complete final fantasy 7-12 in 20 hours. I didnt play final fantasy 12 yet, but good luck trying to beat 7-9 under that time, it would be a big challenge worthy of a number of retries.

The final boss in these games is not a scripted sequence, if your character is not in a minimum level and geared you'll get smashed, need to have a deep knowledge in these games to beat it under leveled. Have to know exactly what you need to get and what you need to level.

I myself completed it in 53 hours, I did a lot of sidequests, hunts and fishing. Almost all of them. And I ran throught the last chapter like I never did in a FF game..

It's almost impossible to finish the game that fast unpurposely.

Its possible if you have cheats...The hrs will be alot less if u did only the main story...

Turns out he was just skipping dialogue and/or not paying attention, because those things were perfectly explained in the game. Still, he insisted he hadn't skipped dialogue and that he had, in fact, paid attention, and it was the game's fault.

I spent 100 hours on the game, and I'm ready to play through again. Sorry you didn't enjoy, but not everyone is going to like a game.

As for me, it's in my top 5 Final Fantasy games for sure.

o.O if you look it up on how long to beat its actually pretty similar in play time to all the previous final fantasies soooo yeah, get over yourself. Just because you CAN power through a game like a speed runner doesnt mean you should. this game is a visual flippin masterpiece. take your time and look around, explore. do the hunts and see the unique monsters and run around on chocobos discovering secret dungeons with bosses in them.... itll take you longer than you think.

Not exactly. Most games of today are relatively short, main story wise. Take old Kingdom heart games. Just the story could take about 20 hours rushed. Speed runners are different.

lol just another person trying to complain and ruin everything, im 15 hours in and barely done anything because im exploring and getting everything out of this game. If you are not doing the same you are playing it wrong and should expect to be disapointed based on your own actions.
