[CHAPTER 9] HELP!! I Think i broke the game

so i was at Chapter 9 and speaking to weskham for the first time, then camelia came and ask me to meet her on her estate, i was intending to do hunt mission at the time, so i quickly switched my quest marker back to the hunt quest and think nothing of it

the problem is, shortly after that my game crashes, and when i reload the game i finished all the hunt quest went to the hotel to meet Gentiana and Umbra, mess around, buy stuff etc
and that's when i realized, there's no quest marker on the map i checked on the menu and there's only sidequest, the main quest is gone and not only can't i find Camellia but i could'nt progress the story too. i have'nt saved prior to this glitch happening, so reloading my save did'nt help much.

did i accidentally softlocked the game? is there any work around for this? please help :(
im 14 hours into the game and not looking forward to start all over from 0 just to get this far again :(

Well that's the problem, cant even find the estate without the markings, by the time i write this im still wandering around town looking for it

After watching some youtube playthrough i managed to find it, but still nothing, no one to talk to, no cutscene triggered or anything

Try going back using Umbra. Save in a different slot. Load that game. Go back to altissia.

I got stuck with sanias quest but it fixed like that.

Have tried everything, havent tried saving on a different slot tho, might try that later
Btw, what chapter does this "sania quest" is? I need to prepare so the same thing wont happen twice

Im currently restarting the game from scratch, thank goodness this game is actually good, might've uninstalled it otherwise

Go to the inn and sleep, go to the manor itself, go into the field and die, or just reload from a autosave point. I've had the guy at the gate dissapear and reloading made him come back. If none of that works do the usual verify gam cache, delete and reload everything moves..

Btw i really think this glitch deserve its own disscussion sticked to the front page, to avoid any new player having the same problem

the guy in the gate also vanisehd in my game, saving and reloading nearby fixed it.

Collecting frogs. Chapter 2 onwards. xD Quest giver is either Sania or Sanya.... can't remember. The lady with the frustrating fetch quests that are infuriating

I've already had to start a new game because of bugs in that city. Screw Altissa.

Well ive reached chapter 7 at only 6 hours game time in my second playthrough
Glad the game's still enjoyable eventhough i had to restart

I have the same issue. I already tried all the ways except to star it over again. I already spend 36 hours on this game. I think that's a bug and it would be fixed sooner or later. So I think that you could wait for a few days to see the resolution.

Although a game having such problems is really awful, I grew up in the ps1 era so multiple saves are a godsent gift for me. I abuse the save system sooooo much. Also how about the autosaves? None of the 2 work?
