New Game+ ???
Am I missing something or why the game seems the same difficulty when I start a newgame+.

I mean the wildlife in the first few quest are all level 1 with "500 hp" just as if I would start a simple normal game . Isn't the newgame+ should be a game harder than normal with the creature's stats and levels boosted around the level of a character and its stat/gear who finished the game once already?

It is the same. It just lets you carry over levels, gils, items, weapons etc. Not every game handles NG+ like Dark Souls, where it gets harder.

New Game + was an afterthought with no effort put into it, it's pure pointlessness.

Yes but whats the point? In other japanese game I have played the newgame+ meant a harder game with increased NPC levels and difficulties. Or maybe those extra rooms in the dungeons what was locked before now available with harder bosses?

I wonder if I missed something but those extra "mysterious" doors in every dungeon locked can be opened in the normal first game or its just newgame+ exclusive because I have not find a way to open them in the normal game?

Hopefully they add hard mode further down the line. The point atm is to collect stuff/do sidequests that you never did the first time around. It's also fun to just plow through everything I suppose.

This is kinda pointless though since you can already do that with Umbra. And really when the game is already super easy you might as well just play a normal new game if you want to redo the main quest. New game + starting at level 50+ would have been much better. The game needs a hard mode.

The question still remains what are those extra rooms deep inside hidden in every dungeon what needs a special key. Could you open those rooms in normal game?

I don't mean locked random doors . I talk about those fancy doors same in every dungeon usually positioned deep inside in a dead end.

Hope they add hard mode just as a difficulty not part of new game +

Also I think each successive game you play should increase drop rates for rare items like the magitek suit v2. And Cor, Iris and Aranea should become available anytime when playing hard mode and new game + combined.

Also I’d like a storage in the trunk of the regalia not needed but having massive inventory at end game kinda sucks and I don’t want to sell everything

He knows dude, he's not stupid. You can open those after you beat the game, using Umbra to go back to Lucis. You have to have beaten the game and cleared Costlemark Tower, Daurell Caverns, Balouve Mines, and Crestholm Channels. Then go to Meldacio Hunter HQ and talk to the old lady, she gives you the key.

There's a magitek suit v2? I've gotten the magitek suit before, but never a "v2" variant

Thank you! Than its like if it would be a newgame+ content. So I was kinda right. (You can't enter them in normal game in your first playthrough)

Yes you can...but only after you beat the story and clear the places mentioned above. If you go into NG+ you still have to finish all that.
