Why is prompto so idiotic?

Aranea or Cor are too old, i guess they wouldn't fit.

Prompt is the weakest link of the group, no doubt, but i think it's done on purpose.

Prompto touches us occidental far less than he should touch the japanese audience. Prompto is a foreigner that have been raised in Lucis. And he's suffering for what foreigners suffers in Japan, even those who were born in Japan: They'll always be looked differently and they may put themselves appart. All the point of Prompto's story is to overcome that and become part of Lucis' main culture. Well at elast that's my take on it.

Eh, Prompto's not that bad. I mean yeah he's annoying at first but eventually you just get used to it. Or at least I do. He's half-grown on me so occasionally I find him kinda dorky-adorable in that younger brother way. Plus at least he's plucky, I guess.

But both him and Gladio are kinda "just there" for me, outside of their Tech use.

Prompto does everything he can to stick with his "friends" because he's afraid of losing them, hence the photos.

His DLC explains it right off the bat. Also he opens up to noct at some point.

Gladio's mah favourite! But i think the french version sells him better than others. The french voice actor is one of the best we ever had.

For exemple he is the french voice of Garrus Valkarian, Jace Stratton, Leon S Kennedy, Arkham Knight, Clayface and Luke Cage's Cottonmouth...

Hes brilliant probs my favourite character. Like when he hums the victory and battle theme. Ignis is great too (that VA is brilliant, I think he did Balthier). Adds a lot to his characters. Gladio is just fine.

Indeed he did. When I first played I knew I recognized that voice.
Supernatural used to be one of my favorite shows. :D

Prompto took a selfie while he stoned me in Comrades. He then was singing the victory music then unleashed a huge attack that one shot me after that. It was hilariously embarrassing.

Prompto is pretty usful if you use him correctly.

Starshell for instance is a really strong debuff as an example. Most of his abilities are pretty good other than snapshot.

I dislike how he keeps on asking about photos. I don't care.

I tried to drive to a place (auto) it was going to take 6 min so i got up to make some food. When I got back we were not at the location I said to go. Prompto asked if I wanted to stop at a spot to take a picture. And if you don't choose no the game assumes yes and stops you there. So it took another 3 min to actually get to the location.

Plus he sucks in battle. Does no damage Runs into melee range all the time to get hit. Constantly wasting my potions on this guy. If he wasn't there I wouldn't miss him.

The 4th should of beed a girl that could heal. Constantly stoping to use potions kills the whole point of having active combat.

Prompto's AI is the best mystery, a guy with a guy somehow always is at point blank range of enemy attack.

Another mystery is that in training sessions, Prompto is almost unbeatable and uses various techniques if you unlocked them for him, something he doesnt really do in normal game.
