Has anybody seen a MA-X Angelus-0 spawn in the windows edition?
I have completed the story, I'm level 99+, I have beaten all the other mechs (the lv 42,45,55,76) and I went to all the "spawn" locations suggested by people online. Nothing.
IF a dropship spawns a mech, its always the 40 -45 level ones. I only once had a lv 76 (something) mech spawn. Thing is, all those people who made these MA-X Angelus-0 videos, played it on console and an older version of the game (before the Royal Edition). So maybe they took it out in the Windows/Royal Edition. Like they never mentioned you have to do a quest now to get the Off Road Regalia.

So if somebody knows more about this I really like to know (so I don't have to waste time "farming" dropships anymore).

I don't have an answer but on console I could sometimes reload and reload for an hour and he'd never appear, then next day I tried he'd pop out three times in a row, then not a few times, then again a couple times in a row. Next session, doesn't show up for 40 minutes, etc.

It's just extremely random, at least it was for me. Whatever the RNG the game is using/based on, felt like it gets "stuck" sometimes, haha.

Can't imagine they'd take him/the V2 out of the game, although they may have made it harder or smaller chance.

I had 2 encounters so far with MA-X Angelus-0. One was outside of the greyshire glacial grotto (the waterfall) the other in kelbal grassland in one of the craters. Had to leave the one in the grotto I was 50 lvl i think.

I know someone who's had really really bad luck with trying to get him to spawn - it has spawned, just not very often, even when camping/farming a spot. Months later he finally got his first V2.

If you want 12, it's going to take hours and hours or weeks/months if one can't farm all day.

Dude has a 5% spawn rate, and a 5% drop rate of his only good item. Can take legit hours of just standing around sometimes. Just keep uh...waiting, I guess.

Dude has a 25-30% spawn rate if you do it right. North of Hammerhead, by the water tower. Same as the consoles 2 years ago. Kill the wolves, save (for ap reason), drop ship comes, if mech fight, if not load. IF you kill the mech and like what you get, save / load to continue.

5% drop rate of v2 (Drop rate food I used pretty extensively in the console, found no stastically signifiant difference in hundreds of kills vs food ones... did find a MASSIVE kill speed difference with damage... but I'm pretty sure it just makes enemies MUST drop an item and since he has 100% item drop it doesn't affect him, thus crit / damage food is superior)

~80 kills to one V2 is about right, drop ship can be summoned in a minute. Load time on ssd is a fraction of the consoles, so 20-25 secs.

So ~1.5 mins per ship, 4 ships to a mech, and 4 minutes to kill the mech (slow end of kill speed) = 10 minutes a kill
= 200 minutes per v2 or 3 hours 20 minutes of pure farm to get it

Thought the collectors editiion guide with the beastiary said he has a 5% spawn rate, but it's w/e. Either way, completely insane amount of farming for a single player only kinda unneccesery accesory. I said back on console it should have a much higher spawn and drop rate. Same still applies.

Collectors guides are written by terribly incompetent players

Doing this right now myself...

30 Ships, 9 v1 suits, 1 v2 suit = 33% spawn rate
40 ships, 11 v1 suits, 1 v2 suit = 30% spawn rate

If you are getting much worse than 25% go look up how to actually do this

It appeared in my game, finally, and a bit oddly.

I am in Chapter 15 and have accomplished most everything there is to do. The only quest I have is The Cure for Insomnia, though I have beaten the game. I am working on finishing out the Ascension Grid and complete all the Broken Car/Help-A-Hunter quests.

I finished the quest "Roadside Assistance", saved my game, and quit for the evening. After waking up I changed the date on my computer to 31 March 2018 to make the Timed Quest the Dread Behemoth+Tyreant event to get QP. I began riding south and, a little after crossing the dirt road (it appears yellow on the map) a drop ship came in and the MA-X Angelus-0 was upon me.

Looking at the map the exact location was north of the first "T" in "The Three Valleys", and a touch south highest "rise" in the yellow road directly north. After reloading to confirm the location, running north to the road and back south seems to regularly spawn drop ships the handful of times I did so. I do not know if they regularly spawn here or will keep doing so once one does.

I also do not know if the changes I made had anything to do with causing Angelus to spawn, but the Patria model is still a blank space in my bestiary. In my case, the Patria appearing had nothing to do with the Angelus spawning.

I simply saved whenever a ship appeared and farmed my 12 in a week or two.
