Maybe you are not close enough or need to wlak away and come back, the action aiming can be bit wonky.
Being able to avoid the red giant room entirely only happens when you go back.
1) 1 iron giant & 1 red giant & minions
2) 2 x red giant & minions
3) 1 iron giant & 2 x red giant & Some kinda beefed up lich & minions (was hell)
4) 3 red giants & some kinda beefed up lich & minions (was hella fun)
(some of the giants colors might be wrong - it was a bit hectic in there lol)
then i found my way to the boss, i would like to say it was through skill and intelligence, but it was actually lokking at the map and filling in the "foggy" missing greyed out areas lol.
I wish more of the game was this fun and challenging!
I got to the boss first time I was in the dungeon the second time I went through the annoying puzzle rooms.
The Menace version is even better - not because of level/room design tho, which is dull.
Hint: look at the floor for a circle engraving
When you return to do the final door for the dungeon you just goto 2, no need to go through all 4 of them again.
