FFXV: The Dawn of the Future now available
The final piece of the Final Fantasy XV Universe has just been released in English on Amazon Kindle. The adventure is now complete!

I've only skimmed through it briefly. There is a 10 page introductory summary of Final Fantasy XV's story and characters with art and screenshots, followed by 4 substantial novellas of about 85 pages each, and then at the end there are about 30 pages of Concept Art, Illustrations, and commentary from the Development Team.

I can't wait to dive in!

Keep in mind that none of it is canon to the real game, even backstory like Astrals past is 100% alternate universe.

Wait, it isn't a continuation? With that title, I thought it would be and that it would explain a bit more what was with Bahamut and such, specially after playing through Ardyn's DLC.

Dawn of the future is an alternate universe of Final Fantasy XV were everyone refuses Bahamut's desire. it is only inspired on the final and last DLC for the game. It plot is heavily influenced by Omen Trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPOMkB8Q9aQ It is related to the non-canon addendum of DLC's. It may be good, but this is not a sequel of FF XV, I like the concept enought to order the book. I don't even know if it relates to Aranea or Luna DLC's.

It's an alternate reality, Bahamut from Dawn of the Future does not have the same Backstory as Bahamut from the real game.

It expands on Ardyn's DLC and was supposed to be the real ending to the FF15 Universe but it still hasn't touched on the hows and whys of Ifrit. Jun Eishima gave it a definitive closure for Somnus, Noctis, Bahamut and Ardyn.
