I'll accept LR being worse, that thing was just pure trash, especially in light of what it did to the story line. However, I have to disagree on 13, it was an excellent Final Fantasy. 13-2 is debatable, of course, but then, we are talking subjective opinions anyway. Not sure it is possible to have an objectively worst FF.
- Why do all NPCs look like the people we see walking in our world and have no armor or weapons to defend against monsters at night? Because not everyone fights, there is a hunters' guild, not everyone rpg fight, there are also people who are merely civilians, I do not see what is wrong with that.
- Why don't any of the cities have walls to protect you from monsters at night? Apparently the monsters are affected by light, the problem is when 10 years pass and the night is eternal
- Why are there so many product locations? Ramen noodles, Coleman dyes, etc. They always criticize advertising in my opinion I do not see the bad, I even like it, they could have even used Coca-Cola and it would be great, as long as the advertising does not directly affect the game I do not see the problem.
- Why the only way to level up is for your boy to cook food? New mechanics, again, what is the problem? I like mechanics, is it bad because only you don't like it?
- Why are calls so rare and random? I have no idea what you mean.
- Why does my character use a damn iPhone in a Final Fantasy game? In advent children they used a model similar to a famous motorola model that was sold at that time, again, what is the terrible thing with which they use an i phone?
- Why did you ruin cool characters? Cid looked bad ♥♥♥ in FF7 now he just looks like a crisp old man in this.
Cid in FF 8 is an old director who cowardly leaves all the responsibility to squall, in ff xii he is a scientist, in ffix he is a toad, in the vi it is rare, etc, etc. In the ffxv I fight alongside Noctis's father, he can't be young forever ... duh
- Why do most of the characters have a horrible southern American accent? (Hello, everyone) If the southerners speak badly to you, it is really up to you, maybe they think you speak like an idiot.
I just don't understand this game at all. It's like they want to have a hyper-realistic look and yet have some things that are still fantastic like Chocobo and monsters but just don't mix at all totally ruins the immersion
Final Fantasy, Fantasy, Fantasy. At what point does the game seek to be realistic?
The game only has a different aesthetic. You say it could be the worst final fantasy only for things that you personally didn't have in a purely aesthetic way.
FF = FinalFantasy
What do the citizens do when monsters wanna just stroll into their community? Say "Howdy Ya'all!" to them?
And how does eating food and camping to level up make any sense at all. It is a stupid mechanic. You level up by fighting and doing things not by sleeping in a Coleman tint and eating Ramen.
For example -
Every town, even parking spots, have a strong light source. I don't remember seeing any cars roaming around at night either.
So yeah, only you the player and the hunters roam around at night. You'll get a more detailed explanation on how the darkness and the light affect the monsters, later on in the story.
All the dark soul games have the same mechanic. This includes all "dark soul" like games too. Its a pretty common mechanic now.
This is by far the worst opinion on FFXV I have ever read, I’d like to rewind my mind and forget I ever read through this trash.
But Lightning Returns? She should have stayed away. I think I got 4-5 hours in on that. An RPG that penalizes you for exploring? Check please.
