Custom character in campaign???

I have a question, I am going to buy the game and I wonder if it is possible to use a custom character in the campaign (single player) :P

Now it is after an official patch, you'll find a dude on a funny costume at the dinners... there you can access a character creation mode.

It's just looks tho. The original main chr's voice and animations etc. will still exist. Which is fine if you want a male avatar, but a little weird (imo) if you want a female avatar.

Kind of. You can customize appearance, but not stats, voice, or character animations. You will forever sound, act, and perform like Noct, just in a different body.

It's a story telling process with specific characters that weren't originally supposed to change. More Witcher3 or DMC than Skyrim in that regard.

Avatara is a quickie afterthought because a lot of people kept asking for custom characters even tho it doesn't really fit the concept of the story part of the game. Console users still don't even have that much (Avatara hasn't been added to console version) and they're largely the ones that kept asking for it back when. >.>
