No DLSS Option

Hello,

I have an RTX 2080Ti and a 4K display. There is no option for DLSS, it's not greyed out, it just isn't there. I've checked for beta updates, but I only have the opt out option.

I have the same as you and i have the option, honestly, it looks not great compared to 4K ultra settings which do OK

1) What version of Windows are you using? DLSS is accessed through DX12, so only Windows 10 can use it, and even then it has to be version 1803 or higher.

2) What driver version do you have installed? DLSS for this game isn't supported on anything less than 417.35.

3) Are you using SpecialK? This one might not be relevant as I'm not completely sure on how it deals with the graphics system, but - IIRC - the game loses access to DX12 features when using that mod.

4) Finally - simply because it has to be asked to cover all bases - are you looking in the right place? It should be found in the Anti Aliasing setting.

I dont own this game but am looking into buying it, anyways i have an rtx 2060 and the same happend with me for anthem when i tried to use dlss. What i had to do was go into the geoforce experience set the slider for anthem down to performance and it turned on dlss , then i had to go into the game and put the graphics settings i wanted where i wanted them then i was able to use dlss. I would try that as ive talked to 4 people who had this issues with anthem and it worked everytime for them as well. I know it's a different game , but could potentially work.

you need to use 4K mode and not 1080P or 1440P

Open up the graphicsconfig file at C:\users\username\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XV\Steam\76561197983607526\savestorage and change:

antialias=3 then save in notepad.
