Flying the regalia is a painful experience.
How did they manage to screw it up?? Why are there so many friggin invisible walls??
Why is it so unhandy? Damn I was looking forward to unlocking it but like as with many other aspects in this game, I came away disappointed.

my main question is what is the purpose to give you a flying car when you can tp to any city... i don't saw anything that you can only get with Regalia...

simple , the type f regalia was an after thought obviously , same with the offroad regalia ( thats why the game resets you everytime you manage to get over a fence or wall with it) the game tried so hard to be open world and modern and they didnt even know what to do with it , thats why you drive on roads that are just as linear as most paths in 13 ( i love 13 but its the same if you drive at night encounters every few meters and only moving on a straight line) and many areas are inaccesable

the flying regalia barely is able to land again , cant fly over lestalum ( invisible walls ftw ) and other things , i bet they tried to make it a " now you look at all the places you visited from above thing you only use once and otherwise just keep for the infinite fuel ( which is dumb aswell , why make a car with a small tank so you have to go refuel every few meters , there shouldnt have been fuel in the game , you wont have a " darn , out of gil and fuel , time to walk " moment anyway so why even make the game have fuel ?

same with the gas stations and restaurants regalia lets you shop in a menu ,why even make other shops that mostly sell the same except for a few special items , same with restaurants , couldnt the hunts all be there in 1 place ? just stick a piece of paper with all hunts on cindys back and voila

back to the topic , the type f is nothing else but a" you did it , have a candy " type of thing

I dont think Type F was an afterthought, I think it was very much a core design. But with the change of directors, anything that was originally intended got thrown out the window, so were left with this heap of a mess of late game XV that we got

Yeah i dont know what they were thinking, not only those invis walls but also the maneuver is terrible and the landing part is the hardest challenge of the entire game. At least it was the only time i ever saw Game Over. Wish i was warned beforehand as i hadnt saved and lost my progress.

This game is constantly being patched and whatnot but why not make this more fun and allow us to map buttons, so im not constantly jumping while interacting with things.
The teleporting is also super tedious, you have to go into a certain point of map and its just so flipping annoying to do so compared to most games. I mean heck FFX and XII had suuuuuper simple and cozy teleporting.
And allow the chocobo to pick up treasures dagnabbit, i mean the tediousness of this game is just too much for me, especially since i like many of the game's aspects.
