How do I exit the Noctis change appearance menu
Found the NPC that allows you to do this, but I want to leave the "New Avatar Male" and "New Avatar female" screen. I don't know how.

There's no way to leave the screen without making an avatar yet. Avatars can be deleted and edited freely though and you can remove your avatar and go back to Noctis mode any time you like. If you're really determined to not make an avatar you can also just quit the game with alt+F4.

I just ran into this issue and finally used Alt+F4 to get out. What a stupid oversight.

I just had to deal with this, how aggravating. After you change you can go into the Tab menu, go into "Online" and go back to Noctis there.

This is such an abysmal oversight (assuming it is one). Every time I entered this menu (not knowing what it is), I had to force quit and reload.
