Toggle Wait Mode With Key

I love the idea of wait mode (not to mention it's basically the only ways to tell an enemies weakness), but I do not want to go into settings to change it, then go back in to change it again, it just takes the natural flow out of playing the game. That is why I am wondering if there is a way to toggle wait mode by pressing a key (without going into the settings)?

The bestiary will tell you an enemies weakness once you've discovered it once or you can just use/hope for Ignis' Analyze, which does the same thing to show enemies stats as wait mode only more randomly (since you have to hover over the exact enemies he's analyzed and you don't always know which). Play long enough or just have a good memory and most of that knowledge will become habit, especially since most of the variations of the same enemy type have the exact same weaknesses (there are exceptions but it's not super common).

I know, that's not the answer you or others want. :D

Far as I know there's no way to make wait mode a toggle. I've seen Cheat Engine tables that to a lot of ez-tricks but not that one. There's a lot of other things that would be nice to have as a toggle as well, but ... :/

Myself, if I'm unsure/have forgotten, I just hit things and if the dmg. number color isn't purple, I stick with it. If it's purple, I switch. Heh.
