I was being sarcastic. I just did the elder coeurl hunt which I believe is around level 64 or 66 and those things are stupid. I understand you fight them based on their weaknesses but the fact they can heal and they basically have unavoidable 1-shot aoe lightning attacks is just horrible design. Not to mention you fight them in a brushy area so the camera is constantly behind a bush and you cannot see what is going on (which granted happens ALL THE TIME in this game)
I can totally agree with on that. I played against Elder Coeurls at level 19- 30, I was getting one shot every 2 minutes. I think, I was forced to summon Ramuh to eliminate 3 of them.
I used the Ragnarok weapon which I believe you get from preordering the Windows edition when it came out. That weapon boosts warp strike damage to an insane amount. If you spend all of your AP on warp strike dmg as well, then you can get it so every warp strike no matter the range is doing 9999 damage on every enemy. That weapon is stupidly OP.
