FFXV x FFXIV crossover
Has it started yet? I remember it being slated for today but I see no news on it

I checked for it on twitter where it was announced... there was also a verson of the crossover for ff14, but both posts were removed. It was meant to launch 12/12/2018 at 12 pst, but it might have been delayed (again)

Of all characters they use a no-name Miqo'te and Garuda. Could have used Y'shtola and Odin, since Odin is more recognisable in FF franchise (as well as made his appearance in other crossover e.g PSO) and Y'shtola already been used in Dissidia.

Also, Odin is the 7th of the original summons with the other 6 already featured in FFXV.

I really enjoyed this event! Garuda gives a ton of experience and the new weapons you can get are awesome. Plus I thought the fight with Garuda was a lot of fun and I like the new area and characters. Finally got to level 100 while grinding for my new sword.

Does anyone know for how long this crossover event will be in the game? It's called "event" so I think it's time limited, right?

mightbe like the terrawars event that was going on a while ago? or maybe like the monsterhunter x ff14 crossover (that is still around) It sounds like it has a timelimit

The summon at the end of the Garuda fight (I'm not sure if it's actually possible to win without the summon) is EPIC.

edit- And you gain it as a full summon in the normal game after!!!

do you have to be high lvl to kill the boss? i have lvl 99 on console but I got the game on Steam and I just started.

The quest recommends level 45 for your characters and I'd say that sounds about right, about as difficult as some of the Tomb or weaker Menace bosses.
