also turn off steam cloud , it could probably revert the file you replaced
1. My cracked ffxv was from Skidrow,if we have the cracked version may i know where the save files?
2.Did you uninstall the cracked ffxv after installing the legit steam ffxv?
3. If Q2 is yes, did u copy the save files first bfore uninstall?
4. Based on your reply,seems like the cracked ffxv saved data miraculously been recognized after restarting the device,does the cracked ffxv data added into the load data option in-game together with the new legit ffxv?
Hi there. I'm really sorry but it's been nearly four years since I initially posted this, so I may not remember much all that accurately. I'll answer your questions as best I can:
1. Take a look in Documents>My Games. I think that's where I found them.
2. I uninstalled the cracked version before downloading the Steam version because of storage space limitations.
3. Yes, back your save files up to your Desktop before uninstalling the cracked version. Make sure to keep your backups there until your saves are up and running in the Steam version.
4. Yes, your save files should appear in the legit FFXV load/save menu after restarting. I can't guarantee that that's the reason they started working, though. You'll just have to cross your fingers and hope that they work.
