There are many product placements, the chairs at the camping the party use, the noodles Gladio loves I don't remember if the grill has a brand too.

There's probably more.

Now to your question, money...

Don't know where you are from but in Japan there's probably a good amount of people that follow/dresses according to (video game, manga, etc)trends not only for cosplay reasons but real life.

And introducing VW to youngsters is a way of grooming people into fashion... just as Armani design the first Matrix wardrove... and there where people actually wearing coats in summer.

Overt adverts in games are cringe. Makes companies look desperate for funding.

It's also a shame Gladio likes the worlds worst noodles, he can't keep that figure eating garbage like that.
