Click/open NvCameraConfiguration.exe
Set stuff how you want it (this is also what you can use to completely disable Ansel if you wanted to)
Edit: the duplicated/ansel gui screenshot thing I have no answer for, except to not use Steam's overlay (it doesn't happen then).
2nd Edit - I always use SuperResolution vs. the default "screenshot" - they look much better imo and you can just resize them down with an image editor if you want them to be smaller. Maybe that would help with the desktop vs game size issue you're having.
But...I only see a directory field for the snapshots. The others are for styles and the temp directory for intermediate shots (whatever that is).
And it doesn't want to save my settings. I can't see an "Apply" button either.

Edit: if you get it to work I'd suggest leaving intermediate shots unchecked. I tried that once and it totally spams your drive with tons of pictures (all the ones it uses to "stitch" together the completed pic which can be 30+ per pic). I found that too much. :D
