Changing the location for Ansel's screenshots...
To clarify, I want to change the location for the screenshots, not the snapshots. The screenshots are saved as PNGs here: C:\Users\Name\Videos\Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition.

I don't mind the PNG format, though. If only it took the screenshot at the game's resolution instead of my desktop one.

Oh yeah, if I take a screenshot with the steam hotkey while I have Ansel active, I get a screenshot with the Ansel GUI and everything. Or if it was the other way around. It's annoying either way.

Press Insert key to hide Ansel UI, and folder location can be set in nvidia overlay.. I don't remeber default hotkey.

Go to: Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Ansel\Tools

Click/open NvCameraConfiguration.exe

Set stuff how you want it (this is also what you can use to completely disable Ansel if you wanted to)

Edit: the duplicated/ansel gui screenshot thing I have no answer for, except to not use Steam's overlay (it doesn't happen then).

2nd Edit - I always use SuperResolution vs. the default "screenshot" - they look much better imo and you can just resize them down with an image editor if you want them to be smaller. Maybe that would help with the desktop vs game size issue you're having.

Okay, thanks for the help.

But...I only see a directory field for the snapshots. The others are for styles and the temp directory for intermediate shots (whatever that is).

And it doesn't want to save my settings. I can't see an "Apply" button either.

Hm. I dunno. Looks like it's cutting off the bottom section for some reason. Can you scroll it downwards? I still use Win7 and have Aero turned off and at 1080 desktop resolution mine looks like this:

Edit: if you get it to work I'd suggest leaving intermediate shots unchecked. I tried that once and it totally spams your drive with tons of pictures (all the ones it uses to "stitch" together the completed pic which can be 30+ per pic). I found that too much. :D

I can't scroll it down any more. I've ticked "disable desktop composition on it now. Then I could see the bottom part of it.
