microsoft store vs. steam

so i just want to know where should i buy the game in microsof store i get more contact for FFXV in steam i get only poor sometic my quistion is players from steam will not be able to play with microsoft store ? there will be two seporate servers ? its not one game to all ? if you choose one section (steam or microsof) u can play only with the players who brough from the same place or everyone playing together?

But thats for all FF15 versions, even the one on Microsoft Store.

I am a Nvidia man, but i do hate this kind of crap, its almost as if we are turning GPUs in to consoles themselves.

Besides, most of this stuff ends up being integrated bloatware even for Nvidia users.

thanks for the inlightment i cancelled microsoft and brought from steam instead well hope i wont need to grinds alot for epic gears

Exactly. We all pay for these corporate tricks. UWP can be a similar impulse for programmers creating game ports, like Ryzen for Intel.

Get steam version because of the workshop, you may mind you want to tweak something in the game you don't like and theres a nice simple fix on steam workshop you can just install by pressing subscribe.

Microsoft's Windows Store version WILL NOT support modding for this game or any game for that matter. Its a glorified DRM platform and really bad at that So yea....It looks like you bought the Steam version so made the right choice.

The people used to say the same thing about the Quantum Break, and i really don't see any difference at all... the same performance and graphics settings are available to both of versions, the DirectX 11 on Steam doesn't make any diference. So, my recommendation is, if the same game is less expensive on Windows Store, then buy it !!!

As has been stated, Steam supports mods (workshop). UWP has completely banned them.

Nothing is ever cheaper on MS Store than it is on Steam.

Also people have failed to mention, Steam has sales, and some pretty big ones. That should be rewarded.

MS Store still charges 60€ for games released 2 years ago.

The only benefit to MS Store is if you also play on XBox, then it offers crossplay. That is LITERALLY the ONLY reason to EVER buy from MS Store!

Edit: I actually do also play on XBox, and I am not really interested in mods, I always prefer vanilla.... and I still won't touch the MS Store version. That should make it pretty clear.

Edit 2: Forgot to point out, GOG should always be priority platform, but they have limited selection. If you can get it from them, you absolutely should!!
