But ya, I was kind of pissed when it wasn't available, considering I play with a 1440p monitor.
SLI is a Nvidia tech, it has to be enabed at driver level. Noting to do with the devs, all they can do is create an engine that supports SLI and wait for the Nvidia engineers to sort it.
2k=2048x1080,hence the 2k
1440p is more like 2.5k
this is a benchmark,the full game will support 1440p resolution
I am sorry I missed the whole debate on what 2k actually is. When I purchased my monitor 3 years ago, it was being called 2k. Then I guess the industry had some form of holy grail moment as to what 2K actully is. So I apologize.
"ffxv.exe" --graphicsIni config\GraphicsConfig_BenchmarkHigh.ini -f --displayResolution 3840 2160 --renderingResolution 2560 1440 --locale=en
1440p is 2560x1440 in standard 16:9 ratio.
2k is a motion picture industry stardard.
But you know on the ps4 slim, this game still looks really good. May not be 4k or high fps- but for a console that costs 299 now? - game is well made for that console architecture none the less.
