REGIONAL PRICING : UNFAIR
Square Enix was one of the last few companies that was keeping fair regional pricing on steam.
But with FF XII and FF XV, they too have turned against that principles.

And like, SE last game, Lost Sphear, had a fair price for the same $ value.

For $50
Lost Sphear : Rs. 1700
Final Fantasy XV : Rs. 2900

For what reason are we forced to pay extra for the same $ value?

I have been very supportive of your products, because I had trust that you will maintain fair regional pricing.
However, you don't seem to care for that trust.

You have broken the last straw. We have had enough.
Either revert back to the fair pricing, or we protest.

Yeah, odd regional pricing for this game. It's Php2,699 in the Philippines. Converted to USD, that amounts to around $54-56. The game is actually more expensive for us.

...and the part about regional pricing matching the average buying power/income level of the country can't explain this one. Because we're a third world country. Most games that have regional pricing enabled actually give us around 32% - 50% less base price (by comparison, PUBG is only Php759, which is around $15 USD. GTA V is Php1,999, which is around $40 USD.)

Same here in Malaysia. While it costs $49 in US Steam, it's RM 219 here = $56. I'd accept that price if it's physical (which is the usual prices for new PS4 games around here--reaching up to RM 300 =$77 at times), but not digital.

Konami does the same too with PES (RM210=$54) and MGSVPP (RM230=$59). Also Nier (RM249=$64). Crazy! I can get these for PS4, used physicals for way less than on Steam.

Funnily enough, other publishers (not Asian) has better prices for us Asians. Weird.

At least broke CIS countries won't have to pay 150-200% of Russian price (or should I say, Russians won't get the game for up to twice lower price than CIS region), let's hope SE won't decide to "fix" it and crank up the price for me to a level I won't be able to afford.

I am from Malaysia as well. The price is getting ridicules with each releases. SE over charged our country with 12.69%

I will be getting this from cheaper source or wait for sales. Sad to see now a day many developers go down the wrong greedy path.

Yea, FF15 was close to $70 CAD for us Canadians. Recommend you check GMG if your region supports it. Got it For $47 CAD there with their code discounts too.

Let's face it SE probably doesn't cares about us since we are not their main market, your only option at this point is sailing to the sea's.

GMG is actually even worse here (in India). They actually sell stuff at price higher than USD. Plus they were not accepting the discount code that was for FFXII.

That sucks. When i used it it worked. Only other option i guess is summer sales, but it might only be discounted by a small amount.

best way to get is on GMG with the new reg discount for 40$ . cant find cheaper anywhere elese for a region free release.40$ still too high for indians. This game should be priced at 1499RS just because its an AAA title and considering the tax crap which makes no sense.
