How do i use Magic at the Comrades part?

If i press R3 + triangle or R2 i just attack or warp.

You gain magic spells from weapons/items you craft them with, it will show you Spell Fire or Blizzard.

Okay... kinda wierd that the tutorial wanted me to use magic when i dont have any?

You always start with magic, you get the basic spell which is a force spell. If you want more magic techniques you need to get weapons that are imbued with them, and or imbue them your self.

left bumper + Triangle / Y

you have to make a weapon with something you like to get something other than the usual push magic though

I see, then it`s still wierd that i couldn't use any at the tutorial.
And is it normal that the game crashes at the matchmaking part? It just closed itself the first time i tried to use it. Gotta check it again some time later.

I've never crashed while matchmaking but, not many people play anyways so I never get put in match with anyone.
