Those running at 1440p...
What kinda hardware are you using to maintain a constant 60fps, even including the the most intense battles?

I’m rocking a i7 4970k and a gtx1080 and cannot even get close to a stable 60 frames, drops to as low as 40 in battles. I was wondering if upgrading to an 8790k would help. Thanks!

1080ti, 100% maxed out and never drop below 60 fps. Never tried disabling stuff.

1440p, 7700k and 1080ti.
all max except scaling still at 100%, as memory recall, drops as low as 37fps during intense magic battle against kujata.
just fiddle with your settting, start at the lowest possible and crank it up

What cpu? I’m trying to figure out if I’m bottlenecked by the cpu
i7 7600k 4.4GHz;
32 GB RAM 3000Mhz;
GTX 1080;
SSD;

1440p, gsync on , vsync off, VXAO off (out of all the GW options this hits me big (approx 8-10 fps)), shadows high. Everything else maxed, 62-85 fps drop below here and there heavy foilage, mobs and magic etc.

Edit: Unless your CPU is @ %100 when you see FPS drop, you would see no difference. No one can maintain 60 fps in this game with max settings @ or above 2k.

If your CPU is the bottleneck, then you might see an increase in performance with a CPU upgrade. I doubt it is though. What's your CPU use in-game? Probably around 80%?

Super low cpu usage at around 60% max. What else is everyone else getting?

Same, try turning off VXAO you should see a significant bump. But you will still drop to 40 sometimes.

I cannot maintain a constant 60 fps even with a GTX 1080 Ti, 5960X CPU, 32 GB RAM, etc.. That is even with some settings turned off. Would like to try with another 1080 Ti that I have lying around, but I need a proper SLI bridge first..

Can anyone else report whether sli helps in this game?

You made me literally LOL. Hilarious!

So I’m sticking with 1440 with all Nvidia works off, all settings on high with motion blur off. This give me almost constant 60 in the field, and 50 lows in battle.

I’m on a 4K tv and cannot stand playing at 1080p, especially given how crappy photos look at that res...

Ryzen 1600x 980ti @ 6032x1080. Everything on Low about 55FPS woo!

As far as I can tell, there is literally no discernible difference between Average and Highest for Lighting and Filtering, so you could try bumping those down to Average for some extra frames. Anisotropic Filtering has virtually no visual difference between High and Average, so same for that. Geomapping could also cause some hitches in FPS, but it *does* look pretty and I wouldn't blame you for keeping it on. Shadows is up to you; I think Average looks fine, but High does look quite good in places. Highest is a HUGE resource hog and the shadows are comically sharp, so I suggest never using that. A lot of the settings in this game barely benefit the visuals while somehow still costing performance, so those are my best tips for ya.

With all Nvidia works enabled I'm getting 45 fps which drops to even 30 during combat (Duscae)

Keep in mind these tests were made in chapter 3, starting area before it is a desert and has a lot lower requirements, the biggest fps killer is Turf and Turf doesn't make almost any visual difference in these early areas. I was getting there more or less 60 fps with drops to 50 during combat.

Impossible with 1080ti all maxed. (+AMD hairfx + AMD physx). Yea, issues multiply with high loads of particlecount
