Level 99 bosses?

Apart from Melusine, that giant turtle and the guy behind costlemark's tower door, are there any other 'interesting' bosses?

Ayakashi is level 110, and is a hunt from Lestallum I believe.There's also the MAX Angelus that have a low spawn rate that drop from imperial airships There's also Melusine which is part of a quest line at the hunter camp.

A couple of the Timed Hunt possibilities have a 140 I think it is...assuming they haven't removed it with Royal/Windows releases - but that's random so can't really predict it.

All not as hard, as they sound :D
If you check the Buff-Food from Lestallum marked, than all of them can be handle.
And the giant turtle is one of the easiest bosses. Much easier because can be killed only with the ring of lucii. xD

I tried the ring of lucii last night with this, and Alterna failed every single time. If I had kept that up I would have been there all night, I'm partially sure they have patched it to no longer work. Death worked fine but that's not much different to spamming 9999 warp strikes with Rag.

This boss is a bit dumb anyway, it stands there and takes a beating while being completely unthreatening, you can beat it with a level 50 without using a single potion, just takes ages because he has a tonne of health.

It's just RNG in that often frustrating way of computer game RNG.

One session you may nearly one shot with the ring a few times in a row, another session you may take 30-70 tries before it procs for a long period. Some enemies do have higher resistance to Alterna I think. Angelus goes down to it a lot more regularly than mr. turtle, for example.
