Constant 60 FPS
Hello my Friends! A Video for haters and lovers :-D.

https://www.twitch.tv/videos/238663607

Video recorded with !GPU! using NVENC Codec almost lossless. Showing stats from Rivatuner (FPS, GPU LOAD, GPU CLOCK SPEED) + FFXV FPS-Stats. You will see, that I am constantly below 90% GPU LOAD and that I got very stable 60 FPS no matter what is going on (Ramuh Summon is fine). Keep in mind that recording almost lossless takes around 10% GPU load at least. So while not recording it is even better than showed here. Also keep in mind that some stuff might get "unclear" or "pixelated" in the video due to Codec Compression. The real experience is obviously a razor-sharp picture.

In this Video I rushed through the mission "Engaging the Empire". Fairly overleveled/overpowered to make a shorter video (12 Minutes are enough for this proof).

My setup
i7-8700K GTX 1070 16GB RAM Windows 10 (Vers. 1607, Jan. 2017, no updates)

FFXV Settings (max settings, nvidia stuff off, using MSAA outside of the game)

Yeah, but what about the minor stutters? I don't mind the fps drops as long as it's going stable.

It's the stutters/crashes/memory leaks that drive us insane.

seems like he is just trying to advertise his twitch.

60fps is old hat bro, its all about 120fps now.

They recently updated a fix for the summoning 20fps lock, however that was already fixed before the patch by changing your game to "Fullscreen Borderless Mode". I'm getting 60fps playing in 4k right now.

You mean the micro fps drops in the graph? I cannot "feel" them, it is just in the graph. Frametime is like 17ms or so. There are not stutters for me. And I also never crash, and even after 3+ hours of gameplay I dont have problems with my memory. I made this video so people can see, that there is not a single problem with the game, but the setup people got and how their systems are kinda "♥♥♥♥♥♥ up" with (i assume) hundred of background processes they do not need and also the special k mod stuff brings issues for me. The base game like it is runs best for me. My guess is, that people try to adjust and tweak and then breaking their setup so it results in problems.

I see, cool. I knew some people getting even this out of the game. I am on 4K when it is the real STANDARD. I gonna chill for now on 1080p with Monitor and TV :-).

Game was supposed to run properly on maximum settings with 1060 in Full HD, lowering or disabling a lot of options is not a ''fix''

Since the 1060 got only a little less power than the 1070, i am sure that i would get the same result here since my 1070 does not hit a high load when i do not record the game. I am very sure this will be true when i would change my GPU for science. The 1070 load is 60-70%, i assume 1060 is 70-90% load.

Set all settings to maximum and enable all Nvidia works then talk.

The Nvidia Gameworks stuff is for the next generation of videocard and for 30 FPS gameplay only. Thx for your comment!

How is your performance on 1440p?

4k is not the standard yet. Standard mean mass acceptance, 1080p is still the most popular res and by far.

A1070 is way more powerful than a 1060, you don't know what you are talking about don"t you?

I gonna chill for now on 1080p with Monitor and TV until 4K is the absolute Standard. I cannot answer your question, sorry my friend.

I searched for 1060 1070 benchmark and i got very nice results which proofs my guess that 1060 will be enough since i saw ~20% less power on 1060 in my quick search.

Oh, so I paid for content which is not suitable to use? Also can you provide source for your claims?

That is how it goes when a new game is released with new stuff and a new engine. Remember when "Crisis" came out?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crysis

People having trouble getting 30 FPS on medium settings back then. It is called PC master race ^^. And i remember noone complaining, everyone was hyped to get better hardware ^^. Generation of people changes and you see where we are now :-D.
