why is boss fight of Prompto DLC so ****ing hard at normal difficult

Spent more than an hour on it and still 'Game Over' at the last phase of the boss fight. If you don't always aim on the core of the boss, you will died. Maybe I should reduce the sensitivity of my mouse so I can aim more accurately. Probably the most difficult DLC compare to the other episodes.

And it's annoying as every time I failed the game I need to load again and skip the cinematic, start from beginning of the boss fight

i felt the boss was too easy in my opinion just aim and shoot, and i used a ps4 controller. beat him on my first try, feel the promto episode was abit uneeded since the Ignis episode can make promto episode to never happen.

I can't do it before the boss reach me, on the best run it left 10% HP. I had watch video on youtube about how other ppl beat it and I found their dmg was twice as mine. Are the damage of machine gun related to the side quests? If that's the case I'd better return to do some side quests to upgrade it

hmm.. thats something i did not concider. since i beat the episode after already beating the main game and levling all to level 120. i really thought i failed on my first attempt since the boss loads up the charge so far to the peak i really thought it was over but last second shot felled him.

I'm having the same problem over here. Is it because its on normal mode?
I just can't seem to burn the final-final phase down for immortalis. Not enough damage for the time provided. I don't miss that much but seeing as how it depletes it at needs least another 15-20 seconds and I didn't miss that much.

I did it on normal my first try, didn't finish all the sidequests. Main game progression shouldn't matter since in the dlc you're level 30 or something. That said I didn't miss many shots, and by miss I mean I was getting criticals almost constantly when it was charging.

I had much more difficulty with the gladio dlc boss fight by far, but once I understood what to do it wasn't too bad.

Not enough center shots, use the zoom.

PS you don't suck, the fight is just designed to be a very close shave.

I find that using the zoom messes up the sensitivity to aim. I could control it better unzoomed.
But I shall try it a few more times before I'll replay the whole dlc in easy mode

From what I see you missed abit there and there which was enough, use the zoom function it helps even if you think it doesnt especially if he is far away, train with it, also the boss apparently should have flinched twice but didnt and got hyperframe all the way kek, since he is supposed to flinch every 10% or so, here he completly ♥♥♥♥♥ on you, altough I dont understand why he has so much health at this point o_O

I don't mean zoom all the time, just kind of go in and out of it at times.
And if you saved at some point before the start, you don't have to start all over just to do easy mode. You can switch difficulties anytime.

I'm not sure Easy mode would help here tho. I think all it does is reduce damage done to the player, it doesn't increase the player's damage to enemies, and this boss fight you never take any damage really, it's just a limited time challenge mostly.

I did it first time, no probloms, with a 360 controler to boot. If you are on the last phase, then you should be able to beat him easy. Shoot at the center why the attack is bulding up.

tried looking for that option. couldn't find it anywhere. I saved just before the monkey fight. which is the last possible point to save on it. how do you lower the difficulty? certainly not in character menu nor options.
