FFXV PC Download Reset?

I had 25gb out of 75gb downloaded. Then suddenly it says 'not enough disk space' the next time i turn on my computer. I indeed only had 71gb left. But wasn't ffxv space pre-allocated before I started downloading initially?

Or did it reset because a new patch came out?

Now it's reset. On my 300kb/s internet. This is a joke. The full 75gb would take me 150 hours of continuous download to finish. I had already downloaded 25gb. Now i need to do it all again.

Please..IS THERE ANY WAY TO GET THAT DATA BACK?!

Unfortunately, theres no option but to reinstall the game. Were you trying to download the High Res texture pack? There seems to be an issue with it not allocating the additional space for the texture pack and causing the download to fail.

Nope, no way.

MAKE SURE you have plenty of space, at least 100GB free

and it could have been the patch that did it, that is likely.

I dont think i was downloading the high res pack. It only required about 85gb the first time.

That sucks. Took me 6 days to download 25gb/75gb. Now i need to start again.

If patches do cause the download to reset i'll legitimately never be able to play this game.

well, if you have a friend or family member with better internet, thats your best bet.

61/75gd done said i ran out of space now it looks as if the download has restarted. But the files are still on my harddrive and the file is getting bigger. Does this mean it will discover them at some point or will it just redownload and replace ?
