Ps4 input buttons are completely screwed up
I tried so many times to restart the game and the system but looks like there's no way to make the ps4 controller inputs work properly. For screwed up i mean the 4 buttons on the right (X, square ecc) don't work on the menu BUT in game circle opens the map and the other ones (forgot which one) opens the item menu

I tried to use DS4Windows but i can't get exclusive mode to work, even with the Hidguardian and stuff

Please help ;___;

Steam will recognize ps4 controlers now, which is why you see the ps4 specific button prompts ingame. Works for me... Try without ds4, just plugged into windows. If not I'd check for firmware/driver updates for my mobo.

I didn't install anything particular. The problem is the controller work flawlessy in other games even without ds4windows and steam support but in this particular game somehow it doesn't like my Ps4 controller and all the inputs are messed up

I noticed there are no ps4 buttons in the "Command List" on the right. Only "blue" buttons

so try to plugin the controller before u start steam. so #1 plug in controller and then steam -> start FF

Nope same problem. I even restared the pc but still nothing...

I don't understand I don't use any program that could alter the ps4 controller inputs and driver at the start of the pc, What could be the cause?

Alright so there's any uninstall button for the drivers? I know the ps4 controller is called "Wireless Controller"

I have the same problem when using newer ps4 controller (zct2u), the one with the light on the track pad and grey analog sticks. If i use my old ps4 controller (no light on track pad) with black analog sticks, the game works just fine without having to do anything.

It may be that steam isnt picking up the newer version of the ps4 controller

There's no fix right now?

I would try DS4Windows but there's this exclusive mode issue that i can't fix with anything i looked on the internet

and yeah that happened with me too...my buttons turned out to be xbox's buttons... just restart steam, unplug controller and it should recognize back.
