Like i did i got at lvl 30 in really quick like start of chapter 3 lvl 58 at the end of chapter 3 because you are forced to sleep at it's end and lvl 77 after rushing to chapter 8 most encounters are really easy and eating at the chocobo farm for the 50% bonus exp + double xp from the resort
The only hard encounters were the giant snakes, the upgraded iron giant, couerl(underleved) and the necromancers((?) the guys who shoot a petrifying laser)
and a friendly reminder the daily quests helps the game to become even more broken just killed 100 cactuars and got 100.000 exp and they all come lvl 15 blizaga and Gladioulus each time one hit at least five at the same time
I don't see what the problem is. The more of those low level troops spawn the more AP you get to farm. I am already maxed out and got another extra 5000 AP just from farming those guys for the Magitek V2 suit. 1 shot kill = 1 free AP point.
Not sure if anyone else suggested this but: unlock the ability to switch to Ignis or Prompto (Through the Technique ascension tree) and switch to either one of them when the imperials come. Prompto can destroy a whole group of them with one rocket, and Ignis' ice blades are perfect for dealing with groups. Gladio can work too, but he won't kill them as quickly (he's best as a tank, really)
