average playtime.

i am now in chapter 5, and have done over 40 side quests. what is the average playtime of the game? i am now at around 19hours. fells a little too quick, doesnt it?
just wanna make sure, that i dont get to the end too quickly ;)

Anywhere from 50hrs-300hrs depend on your playstyle.

300hrs because i see some player sunk 300hours on the base game alone

Fishing can take a lot of time.... , exploring every area can be fun, also grinding level, i dont want to use any exploit to level up quickly because i dont want to finish this game too quick

Im in ch.3 with 23 hrs gametime. Am about to reach the waterfall part and have done many side missions. I'm taking time with this game, as I do with all RPG's i play, so i can take in the world and atmosphere of FF XV.

Depends on how much grinding and side stuff you do. I got to level 24 and sitting on a huge stack of exp in Chapter 3.

The average playtime is around 50 hours, but the main quest on it's own can be completed in 8-12 hours.

chapter 6 with 53 hrs. I think i'll be hitting over 300 before im done haha hell im 200 on ff12 and still not done with story

Just a tip, if you want to take it slow and do the side quests then don't start Chapter 9 otherwise the only way to be in the open world is to go to a specific menu and return to an earlier point in the game

I actually looked at some soft-speedruns (meaning no cheats were used) and the main story can legitimently be completed in about 4 or 5 hours, thats impressive you have to be a master at combat (or playing on easy)

I've completed the main quest, i have over 40 side quest done, i did most of the hunt i believe. and im at 60h into the game.

I have yet to do....

-A lot of sidequest, costlemark, killing omega, getting to lvl 120, ect.

It was supposed to be a lvl 1 run, but i didn't know it had to be absolutely Noctis that had to wear the Nixperience band hence why im not lvl 1 anymore lmao.

There are 15 chapters, the later part of the game is completely linear and story based with no exploration (unless you use time travelling dog), I finished the game with something like 38 hours played on the timer at level 49 for Noctis.

You can load your saved game after you beat the main game and it dumps you back in chapter 15 with the ability to time travel back in time, which is how you can go back and continue the open world stuff.

I did the campain on my first playthrough in about 15 hours with few side quests included. Second run was 10 hours. For my compeation run which i never finished on PS4 and am now attempting again on pc, I got to 500 hours and still wasn't finished.
