How the heck do you turn the car?

Title. A and D don't work. The mouse turns it a little bit, but not enough to actually turn at at a T-intersection.

Just hold the buttons down when at an intersection and they'll recklessly swerve around the corner. The car controls suck. Final Fantasy XV is a world of terrible drivers (and no stop signs).

The car drives itself automatically, you can't really control it on your own. If you're coming up on a turn, hold the direction you want to turn and it will turn automatically. Later on you will be able to upgrade the car and have complete control rather than being stuck on the road. A and D should work by default, just hold them down like Chaos said.

Keep doing the quests for cindy and unlock the offroad type d monster truck adaption only then do u have full contoll over car on roads and offroad like a normal gta openworld kinda driving:)

But is it just me or does cars being in a final fantasy game just feel wrong:)

Cars have been in ff games as early as 7, that you could control anyway. so no, unless you are limiting yourself to 16 bit and under.

OP, in case you're wondering, the soonest you can get the Regalia Type-D is Chapter 8.

i felt final fantasy was trying to be more down to earth in this game compered to the others i know they have had air ships the amazing motobike type in ff7 etc but never down to earth cars like u see in ff15 I know our car goes crazy with big tires and flying though^^

Final Fantasy VII had cars you could rent and drive around the world map. Final Fantasy VIII had the same thing. I wouldn't say cars are in MOST Final Fantasy games, but those are two popular Final Fantasy games that have had them.

Only on a New Game+. For the first play through you can't get it until Chapter 8 because you need a part that's in a locked portion of the map until Chapter 8.

It's been changed at some point, chapter 8 is the earliest you can get it through cindy's quests

C for u turn, or at cross roads just press the proper directional button, its on rails for the most part but you have some control on the pc version.
